don't know if this is the right place [MySQL questions]

Postby roders22 on Thu Apr 12, 2007 10:51 am

Hi guys,
Again sorry if i've posted this here but am hoping someone can help with this. Am trying to do a data extract straight from mysql. The date is stored as number of days in year 0-365. I need to convert this in mysql so that i can get the date corresponding to the the number of days. I've found this MAKEDATE() but this is only for mysql 5.x, the SQL version they've given me to work on is 4.0 (totally prehistoric). Does anyone know a solution for this problem?
Thx
Roddy

Greetings,

Use PHP to select the data from the db, then change it to your desired format using the PHP time() function.
Tip: Don't argue with idiots, they'll drag you down to their level and beat you with experience.
