Aeroblue header problems

Postby Mylo on Sat Oct 04, 2008 8:07 pm

I have AeroblueX theme installed but what bothers me is that I really would want to make header a bit different then the default one. Is it possible to use bigger header then default midl.gif image and - important also - clickable - so that visitors can click on it to get to the forum start.

OK I've tried to replace this in overall header html

<span class="headw">{SITENAME}</span>

with

<span class="headw"><a href="{U_INDEX}">{SITENAME}</a></span>

And then I refreshed the theme in control panel, twice, even tried with control + refresh in Mozilla and Chorme, nothing changed.

I even tried to put full url inside the {U_INDEX}, like this;

<span class="headw"><a href="{http://www.something.com/boards}">{SITENAME}</a></span>

To no avail. What am I doing wrong?

This is amazing. If you google the most popular phpbb3 templates, aerobluex is almost always in the top 5 and yet for the past six months no one seems able to fix this stupid problem.

If it is fixed then would someone please help those of us that don't do this 24/7 and post the damn answer?!

Have you ever thought to ask the author at his site?

Craig.
Just for fun, I'll sometimes merge two totally unrelated topics.
