[Tutorial] Viewing your server settings

Postby Greg on Sun Feb 27, 2005 7:46 pm

Hey,

To see your server settings use the code below.
Code: Select all
<?php
phpinfo()
?>

It shows PHP compilation options and extensions, the PHP version, server information and environment (if compiled as a module), the PHP environment, OS version information, paths, master and local values of configuration options, HTTP headers, and the PHP License.

With that information, you can make a testing server and make the same settings so you know the server your site is on and the testing one are the same.

More information on displaying certain types of information can be found here: http://uk2.php.net/phpinfo
